Job summary

1440 Foods is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to lead our startup plant operations. The role includes scheduling, supervising staff, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe, efficient environment on a 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM shift.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of leadership in food manufacturing, hands-on experience with production equipment, ERP systems, and strong communication skills to coordinate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience supervising production staff and managing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production operations and coordinate activities to meet schedules.
• Monitor production processes to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Ensure quality assurance and sanitation compliance.
• Lead staff with hiring, training and performance management.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance in the plant.
• Oversee inventory usage and material management.
• Maintain production records and prepare management reports.
• Drive continuous improvement and daily performance tracking.
• Willingness to learn ERP/MES functions and related tasks.
