Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation (IPC) is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Cut Floor on the 1st shift in Delphi, Indiana. The role emphasizes mentoring, safety accountability, and decisive on-the-floor leadership to meet government specifications and production goals.

You will supervise team members, enforce policies, train staff, and maintain smooth workflow while coordinating with the Production Superintendent to achieve schedules and quality targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
• 1+ year leadership in fresh kill/cut meat processing or 5+ years in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• USDA and HACCP knowledge a plus.
• OSHA 10- or 30-hour certification preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead production team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Implement and maintain safety standards per law and policy.
• Direct training and rotation of team members.
• Coach staff to resolve issues and ensure corrective actions.
• Maintain high morale and ethical workplace.
• Manage production schedules with the superintendent.
