Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation (IPC) seeks Associate Production Peak Season team members for the Cold Side at the Delphi, IN facility. This full-time role focuses on processing, packaging, and inspecting meat products in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment while upholding quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating production equipment, following USDA regulations, and working flexible shifts.

Qualifications

Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
Must be available to work from August 2026 through February 2027.
Able to work in a cold, fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Previous meat processing/food production/manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
Willing to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

Perform production tasks such as cutting, trimming, deboning, packaging, labeling, and prepping meat for shipment.
Operate production machinery following proper procedures.
Support food safety and quality assurance per USDA regulations.
Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
Keep work areas clean and organized for production.
Collaborate with team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Assist supervisors and management with additional duties as assigned.
