Job summary

dormakaba USA, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Production Lead (first shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) to provide daily operational and technical leadership in manufacturing. The role coordinates workflow, supports team members, and ensures adherence to standardized work in a safety- and quality-focused environment.

The position offers a base salary range of $28/hr to $35/hr with mandatory overtime and a benefits package; a $2,000 sign-on bonus is available and discussed in the interview.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred, with strong tech proficiency.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams and continuous improvement projects.
• Proven ability to train and mentor operators and support cross-training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities and balance labor resources.
• Lead SQCDP team cadence meetings and communicate priorities.
• Maintain SQCDP visual management boards with metrics and action plans.
• Act as SME for assigned processes, troubleshooting and optimizing equipment.
• Perform machine operations, setups, changeovers, and process verifications.
