dormakaba is seeking a First Shift Production Lead in Indianapolis, IN. The role leads day-to-day operations, coordinates workflow, and upholds safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people objectives on a manufacturing floor.

The lead will co-run daily SQCDP meetings, mentor operators, and ensure standardized work. Strong technical skills with punch presses and setup abilities are required for this critical production leadership position.

Qualifications

• Lead the production team and manage daily workflow.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to SQCDP metrics.
• Deliver operator training and validate competency across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities to meet SQCDP objectives.
• Co-lead daily SQCDP meetings and track action items.
• Maintain visual boards with up-to-date metrics and improvement plans.
• Serve as SME for processes, troubleshoot, and minimize downtime.
• Perform advanced machine operations, setups, and changeovers.
