Job summary

dormakaba is seeking a First Shift (6:00AM-2:30PM) Assembler II based in Indianapolis, IN. The Assembler II will perform assembly and packaging tasks in the manufacturing process and may train lower-level assemblers.

The position offers a base salary range of $18–$23 per hour, with mandatory overtime as needed and a competitive benefits package. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available and benefits information is provided on the career site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• SAP experience is required.
• Computer proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of complex production and assembly processes by following assembly work instructions.
• Operate various production assembly machines, and may use hand tools to assemble products.
• Use basic test equipment to make routine mechanical measurements, and to replace faulty components and wiring as needed.
• Visually inspect parts to quality standards and communicate problems to supervisor/lead person.
• Pack finished product as set forth by work instruction, including instructional sheets and any necessary hardware.
