Job summary

dormakaba is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II based in Indianapolis, IN. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance on a wide range of production and facility equipment, and guide entry-level technicians while driving equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role operates on first shift (6:00AM – 2:30PM) with a base pay range of $35/hr. – $40/hr and a$2,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include healthcare options and a 401k plan, among others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Cribmaster/CMMS and standard plant maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
• Conduct intermediate electrical troubleshooting (sensors, switches, wiring, VFDs).
• Fabricate and install parts using machining and welding tools.
• Support equipment changeovers, rebuilds, and installations for performance improvement.
