Job summary
Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for 1st shift in Orlando, FL. You will lead daily shop-floor activities for setup, operation, repair, inspection, and manufacture of parts, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
You will partner with production planners to estimate labor hours and develop plans, assign daily work, verify training and certifications, and drive continuous improvement with lean methodologies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent in a manufacturing/engineering field.
- 5+ years in manufacturing/repair/inspection with leadership experience.
- Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement experience.
- Ability to read specifications, blueprints and work instructions.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily activities for setup, operation, and inspection of parts.
- Translate production priorities into clear daily expectations and remove barriers.
- Maintain safety, quality, and delivery targets; manage labor planning.
- Coordinate with planners to estimate labor hours and develop production plans.
- Coach and develop team members; monitor KPIs and drive improvements.
