Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Production Supervisor for the 1st shift in the CoC Exciter manufacturing unit. You will own operations, lead a direct team, and drive safety, quality, and Lean improvements across production and in-process testing of large generator components.

The role requires significant manufacturing leadership experience, strong problem-solving and planning skills, and a proven track record with GMP, SAP, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher preferred; equivalent combinations considered.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or production with supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, GMP, SAP.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S for continuous improvement.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the production team through direct supervision and coaching.
• Oversee daily production operations for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Plan schedules, allocate labor, and coordinate shift transitions.
• Serve as the primary operational leader during the shift and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, and company quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance and cross-functional teams to reduce downtime.
