Job summary

Siemens Energy, Winston Technology Center in North Carolina, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead first shift manufacturing operations for large generators. You will manage resources, coordinate with teams, and ensure safe, efficient production aligned with engineering specs.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in manufacturing, 1–2 years in supervision, and CNC machining experience. You will drive continuous improvement and maintain zero-harm standards in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing or production experience required.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing with large generators preferred.
• Previous CNC machining experience including machine setup preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and RCA basics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee first shift production activities and resource allocation.
• Lead teams and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor schedules, address bottlenecks, coordinate handovers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and waste.
• Foster a culture of accountability and open communication.
