Job summary

Howmet Fastening Systems is seeking a 1st Shift, Processing Tech I for our City of Industry, California location. The role involves basic shop math, clear English instruction comprehension, and learning to use measurement instruments to verify first pieces.

Employees will support continuous improvement, communicate with the Production Team Leader, and participate in lock out/tag out certification programs while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include legal work authorization in the United States. Visa sponsorship not available.
• Must be able to read/write English and perform basic math; capable of lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team members and Production Team Leader.
• Read, write and understand basic instructions in English; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Learn to use measurement instruments and perform first piece verification.
• Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn; follow directions.
• Be able to become certified in lock out/tag out and be familiar with Human Performance tasks.
