Job summary

Howmet Fastening Systems seeks a 1st Shift, Processing Tech I for our City of Industry, California location. The role involves reading and following basic instructions in English, performing first piece verifications, and using measurement instruments.

Expect to lift up to 30 pounds, learn lock out/tag out, and work closely with the Production Team Leader. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; visa sponsorship is not available. Howmet offers competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

Read, write and understand basic instructions in English.
Perform first piece verification and maintain measurement records.

Lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly and collaborate with the Production Team Leader.
Possess basic communication and team collaboration skills.
Become certified in lock out/tag out and participate in Human Performance tasks.
