Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a Process Operator for the 1st shift in Westbury, NY. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing equipment, inspecting materials, and recording production data to maintain accurate batch records.

You will ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards while supporting process improvements. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in manufacturing or similar roles, reads and follows written and verbal instructions in English, and has basic

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, production, machine operation, or process operator experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic math skills, including calculations involving weights and volumes.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assist in equipment setup, maintenance, and assembly.
• Forklift experience required; experience with electric hoists or cranes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Technical trade school training or an Associate degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Inspect materials and products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Record production data and maintain accurate batch records and reporting documentation.
• Verify materials are being used correctly based on production schedules and work orders.
• Label and track products throughout the manufacturing process.
• Communicate production status, issues, and process deviations to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to quality, safety, and productivity.
