Oerlikon is seeking a Process Operator for our Westbury, NY facility. The role involves setting up and operating production equipment, ensuring product quality, and applying process changes according to SOPs.

You will work under close supervision and contribute to a safe, efficient production environment. Qualifications include a technical trades background or associate degree, at least two years of manufacturing experience, and ability to read English instructions.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience or similar.
• Ability to read/comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic math for weight and volume measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment per SOPs.
• Monitor product quality and make process adjustments.
• Maintain accurate batch records and processing reports.
• Ensure correct materials are used per production records.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Report deviations to supervisor and participate in continuous improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
