Safetec of America, Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a full-time 1st Shift Machine Operator to operate, adjust, test and maintain production equipment, supporting quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull using a pallet jack.
• Ability to reach and bend frequently.
• Ability to go up and down ladders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work is a must.
• Must work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Detect equipment malfunctions or misalignments visually and by listening to the machine's noise.
• Operate, adjust, testing, and maintain machines.
• Communicate quality, material, and production issues to the supervisor.
• Keep the area clean and organized at all times.
