Job summary

Dunmore International Corp. is seeking an entry-level Production Assistant to support Plant Operators in set-up, operation, and turn-around of machinery to meet quality and productivity standards.

This role starts on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am–2:30pm) and includes safety training and hands-on learning in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include assisting with setup, maintaining data accuracy, assisting in packaging, and ensuring materials and tooling are ready for production.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail, effective written & verbal communication skills.
• Desire to learn, to improve processes; to work as part of team with minimum supervision.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Operators in the set-up, turn-around, and operation of defined machinery to achieve standard quality and productivity.
• Follow safety rules and procedures; handle materials and dispose of waste per guidelines; maintain clean work areas.
• Verify quality and data; prepare orders for manufacture; assist in packing and labeling per specs.
• Document operations and maintain required paperwork per department instructions.
