Qualifications

• Previous ACME screw machine experience required.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Must have own tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials and monitor machine cycles for proper operation.
• Perform in-process inspections using gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
• Maintain production output while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Identify and report defects, machine issues, or out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Make minor adjustments to maintain part quality (feeds, speeds, offsets).
• Maintain production, scrap, and downtime reporting.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and machine guarding.
• Keep work area clean and organized per 5S standards.
