Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Macomb, MI is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for the First Shift. The ideal candidate will set up and operate CNC equipment, read blueprints, and perform tool changes while maintaining quality and on-time production.

You will troubleshoot issues, read calipers and micrometers, and work 45–55 hours per week in a team environment. Prior G-code/M-code editing is a plus, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with CNC machine setups, adjustments, and tool changes.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings/blueprints.
• Ability to use standard precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work 45–55 hours per week on first shift.
• Preferred: G-code/M-code editing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment.
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and tool changes.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional requirements.
• Make in-process adjustments to maintain part quality and consistency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining specifications.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges for measurements.
• Monitor tooling and replace tools as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow established safety and quality procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
