Job summary

Intermountain Electronics is seeking a Painter Helper for the First Shift at our South Point Ohio facility. The role supports the paint department and may offer training to become an Industrial Painter. You will assist with prep, masking, cleaning, lifting, and operating basic paint-related equipment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred. Completion of at least 10th grade education required, plus up to one-month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 40 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment to be painted by cleaning, washing, applying caulk, taping, masking, wiping, vacuuming, hanging, etc.
• Lift and hang pieces on a rack to be cleaned and painted.
• Operate a pressure washer.
• Operate various sizes and makes of forklifts.
• Operate an overhead crane.
