Job summary

Jobtailor is looking for a Training Manager to design and implement comprehensive training programs across multiple facilities. You will develop modules, coordinate videos, and schedule sessions while ensuring effective learning outcomes and safety compliance.

The role requires expertise in adult learning, strong communication, and leadership to coach instructors and plan individual career development paths for team members.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related work experience
• Experience with warehouse management or inventory systems
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and adult training methodologies
• Ability to adhere to the 7S program
• Proven ability to maintain a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience preferred
• 3 years of management experience preferred
• 2 years of training, teaching or related experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred
• Creative and visual graphic design ability preferred
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive training and development programs to teams in various facilities
• Develop, write, maintain and coordinate training modules for a variety of specialties
• Oversee the development of training videos and/or films
• Schedule training sessions; ensure facility and audio-visual equipment is set up and that employees are notified
• Develop a means of measuring the effectiveness of training programs through testing, surveys, etc.
• Identify required core competencies and address any skill gaps
• Train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and interacting with employees
• Determine and implement career development plans for each training department employee
