Job summary

Inteplast Group is hiring a Mold Maker A (1st Shift) to perform maintenance, repair and tooling fabrication for injection molds and related equipment. The role requires strong CNC knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and experience with mills, lathes, grinders, and EDMs.

You'll disassemble and assemble molds, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and support safe operation in a high-temp, high-noise environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years in repair of plastic injection molds (college preferred).
• Tool & Die Maker certification preferred (federal/state).
• Strong knowledge of CNC equipment, programming, surfacing and tool paths.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service tools and components; inspect for damage or wear.
• Disassemble/assemble molds and troubleshoot hot manifold systems and electrical issues.
• Create new tooling components with mills, lathes, grinders, EDMs and CNC equipment.
• Assist with installation of machining and tool-making equipment.
• Disassemble/assemble molds; ensure proper water seal and flow.
• Identify cleaning techniques for tool components and mold location.
• Operate tooling repair area equipment safely; follow safety practices.
• Attend meetings; mentor others on tooling-related skills.
