Job summary

Pentair New Brighton, MN is seeking a Tool and Die Maker for first shift to support design, build, and maintenance of injection mold tools. You will fabricate and repair mold tooling, jigs, and fixtures, while collaborating with R&D to drive project success.

Key requirements include 5+ years in tooling, apprenticeship or technical cert, and strong CNC/EDM/CAD skills. 1st shift, full-time with overtime options and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Tool Room environment manufacturing precision injection molds.
• Completed apprenticeship or technical certification for tooling.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and CAD data.
• Demonstrated CNC milling, turning, and EDM proficiency; tight tolerances.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture injection mold tooling and critical components.
• Provide routine and preventive maintenance of injection mold tools.
• Manufacture jigs and fixtures for production areas.
• Collaborate with R&D and other Toolmakers; support key projects.
• Engage in daily 5S and Kaizen activities in the plant.
• Work from drawings or develop tooling paths as needed.
