Job summary

Trova Advisory Group is seeking a First Shift Production Supervisor for our metals manufacturing environment. You will lead work teams in the safe, efficient production of quality parts and coordinate with other department supervisors, engineering, and management to ensure on-time delivery.

The role reports to the Production Manager and requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in metals manufacturing, a relevant degree, strong problem-solving, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as a production supervisor in a metals manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing standard practices for quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills and practical use of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead production orders completion by team members in assigned departments.
• Provide direction and training to assigned teams; promote safety policies.
• Assign tasks and solicit ideas to improve processes, productivity, and timeliness.
• Communicate with team leads and engineering on orders and issues.
• Troubleshoot basic manufacturing problems to identify material or equipment issues.
