Job summary

AMETEK Superior Tube Company, a global leader in precision metal tubing, seeks a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to manage all aspects of manufacturing, safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement; a college degree in engineering is preferred, with Excel proficiency and experience with union operators.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing supervision and problem solving.
• Strong communication to coordinate shifts and enforce policies.
• Experience with unionized operators is a plus.
• Engineering field degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production meetings on schedules and metrics.
• Train and mentor personnel to achieve safety, quality and delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving across product areas.
• Ensure OSHA/compliance and safe working conditions.
