Job summary

Hawkeye Metal Spinning in Jesup, IA is seeking a manufacturing associate to produce parts on assigned equipment following specifications and production requirements. You will maintain accurate daily records in the ERP system, unload and package parts, and comply with 5S and safety policies.

You will follow Shop Traveler, Inspection Sheets, and blueprints, inform quality control of issues, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn Hawkeye Metal Spinning manufacturing process.
• General skills with hand and power tools.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask on a wide variety of projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts on assigned equipment according to specifications and within production requirements.
• Unload and package parts according to Hawkeye Metal Spinning standards and customer requirements.
• Complete accurate daily records (date, times, quantities, scrap) for every job in Shop Travelers and ERP.
• Follow instructions from Shop Traveler, Inspection Sheets, and blueprints.
• Inform quality control and shift supervisor/lead of any problems with parts.
