Job summary

Hawkeye Metal Spinning is seeking an industrious manufacturing associate to operate CNC machines and assemble parts in a fast-paced shop environment. You will follow blueprints, inspect parts for quality, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires a willingness to learn Hawkeye processes and adherence to 5S and safety standards. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED, crane certification, and experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; crane certification required.
• Experience with industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Willingness to learn Hawkeye Metal Spinning processes.

Responsibilities

• Check with designated lead on machine and job assignments.
• Discuss with preceding-shift machinist about machine performance and difficulties.
• Produce parts on CNC machines according to specifications.
• Unload and package parts per Hawkeye Metal Spinning standards.
• Record daily production data in Shop Travelers and ERP.
• Follow Shop Traveler, Inspection Sheets, and blueprints.
• Inform QC or supervisor of problems.
• Perform inspections per Quality Manual.
• Perform preventive maintenance and report issues.
• Maintain clean, 5S-compliant work area.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Maintain required documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
