Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Mechanical Assembler 2 to join our onsite operations team. You will read blueprints, follow engineering drawings, operate hand and air tools, and perform quality checks to ensure assembled products meet specs.

Working in a standing position up to 9 hours, you will maintain safety, keep workspace clean, and support production goals while collaborating with a team to resolve defects and implement changes driven by engineering specifications.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and BOMs.
• Operate hand and air tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain workstation inventory for smooth workflow.
• Perform quality checks and record defects.
• Rework or repair assembled equipment per specs.
• Keep work area clean and adhere to safety procedures.
• Support customer demands by completing tasks on time.
• Stand for up to 9 hours per day.
