Job summary

Aerotek in Ephrata, PA is seeking a dependable Material Handler / Compost Technician to support production in a clean food manufacturing facility. You will deliver materials, manage compost and waste, and keep areas organized.

First shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; temp-to-hire, full-time with benefits. You will work independently and as part of a team in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, inventory, or food production preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stay active throughout shift.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials and supplies to production areas.
• Verify materials are labeled and delivered to correct location.
• Review production schedules and prioritize material deliveries.
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost throughout the facility.
• Transport compost waste to outdoor collection areas.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and organize compost bins and containers.
• Maintain clean and organized storage, production, and waste areas.
• Clean spills and support sanitation across the facility.
• Report damaged or missing materials to supervisors.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
