Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Material Handler for a first-shift, temp-to-hire role in Reading, PA. Expect 6:00 AM–2:30 PM start times, with occasional 4:00 AM starts when containers arrive.

Position offers a pathway to permanent employment after 90 days in a fast-paced, GMP-compliant food production facility. Responsibilities include operating pallet jacks and forklifts, maintaining accurate inventory through data entry, and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English.
• Strong math skills; ability to pass an in-house math test.
• At least six months of experience in a Material Handling/Warehouse role.
• Experience with electric pallet jack, forklift, and high reach truck.
• Proficient in computer and data entry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Move materials using electric pallet jack, forklift, and high reach truck.
• Perform data entry and maintain inventory records.
• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Work in cold/freezer conditions.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.
