Godshall’s Quality Meats is seeking a skilled First Shift Maintenance Mechanic Technician to support growing food manufacturing operations. The role performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on production, processing, packaging, and utility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable equipment operation.

Responsibilities include PMs, troubleshooting, equipment inspections, and documentation, plus fabricating or machining as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge required.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Knowledge of maintenance software Mpulse preferred.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production, packaging, and processing equipment.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance.
• Document work performed and parts usage; complete required records.
• Install, set up, and adapt machinery including electrical, mechanical, and control aspects.
• Perform lockout/tagout per safety procedures.
• Support and maintain utility systems (steam, air, water, power).
• Fabrication, welding, or machining when needed (TIG/MIG is a plus).
