Job summary

IQ Resource Group is hiring a 1st shift Maintenance Mechanic in Oshkosh, WI. The position focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support the site’s goals.

Duties include emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, reading manuals and schematics, and using hand tools, meters, and CMMS software to track work orders. Candidates should have prior mechanical experience, ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts, and a teamwork

Qualifications

• Previous work experience.
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes with related equipment and forklifts.
• Knowledge of general shop procedures and rules including safety precautions.
• Ability and willingness to cooperate with co-workers and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain machines and plant facility equipment.
• Provide emergency repairs to maintain production.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read manuals, schematics, and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Learn and use CMMS for asset management.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Wear PPE and follow safety policies.
