Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and perform light building maintenance. The role requires following GMPs, safety rules, and reporting noncompliance as needed. First Shift, on-site, with comprehensive benefits.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, time management, and a solid grounding in electrical testing and repair of HMI and related machinery. Forklift operation and tool proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management ability to meet deadlines.
• Solid understanding of electrical testing and repair of material handling equipment.
• Ability to use power and hand tools efficiently.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to follow oral or written instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspection of electrical and power units.
• Detect malfunctions and repair electrical systems and vehicle engines.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and corporate policies.
• Maintain service cycle records and maintenance logs.
• Report damages and issues to supervisor.
• Move equipment between buildings and manage parts orders.
• Follow GMPs and safety rules; observe all safety rules.
• Perform light building maintenance tasks.
