Job summary

ID Logistics US is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and perform minor building repairs, following GMP and site safety rules. The role emphasizes safe work practices, documentation, and teamwork on a busy production floor.

The position requires setting up, testing, calibrating, and maintaining equipment; keeping the area clean and compliant. Shift: Weekday 1st shift, 7am-5:30 pm; pay level $25/hr with $1.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Basic electrical testing knowledge and ability to read schematics.
• Good manual dexterity and trouble-shooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment setup, operation, tests, calibrations, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance on production equipment.

Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

• Performs equipment setup, operation, tests, calibrations, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.
• Maintains production machines and equipment, and cleans equipment, and ensures work floor are clean, safe and well maintained.
• Assembles, and tests all components to ensure all equipment is for safe and in working order before they are put into production.

Requirements

Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
• Sound understanding of using all electrical testing and repair of Material Handling equipment.
• Ability to use efficiently various power and hand tools.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Should follow oral or written instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time.
