Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic at our Somerset, NJ facility. You will inspect and repair material handling equipment and perform minor building repairs while following GMPs and site rules.

Responsibilities include inspecting electrical and power units, diagnosing malfunctions, maintaining service records, ordering parts, and supporting safety compliance with OSHA standards. This is a full-time, on-site role with daily tasks and shift timing Sunday to Wednesday, 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Maintenance mechanic with electrical experience
• Knowledge of GMP/OSHA safety rules
• Ability to perform building repairs and inventory management

Responsibilities

• Regular inspection of electrical and power units.
• Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical systems and vehicle engines and repairing the same.
• Maintaining a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Daily inventory counts.
• Moving equipment from building to another building.
