Job summary

Idlogistics is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and perform minor building repairs. The role follows GMP and site rules, reports noncompliance, and enforces safety policies.

You will perform setups, tests, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on production equipment; keep floors clean and safe; assemble and test components; and operate a forklift on a weekday first shift (Wed-Sat, 7:00 am–5:30 pm).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods.
• Sound understanding of electrical testing and repair of material handling equipment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to follow oral or written instructions.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Maintenance Mechanic position requires a skilled maintenance mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and minor building repairs. Will follow corporate and site specific. Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

• Performs equipment setup, operation, tests, calibrations, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.
• Maintains production machines and equipment, and cleans equipment, and ensures work floor are clean, safe and well maintained.
• Assembles, and tests all components to ensure all equipment is for safe and in working order before they are put into production.

Shift: Weekday 1st shift-Wednesday – Saturday 7am- 530 pm

Salary range $25 per hour + $1.50 shift differential
