Job summary

Woodward Inc. is seeking a Machine Repair Technician for the 1st shift at the Loves Park Campus in Rockford, IL.

The role focuses on routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of manufacturing equipment on a Monday–Friday 6:00 am–2:30 pm schedule, with overtime opportunities and a rotating on-call rotation. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or higher, experience in machine repair in manufacturing, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Associate degree in electronics, mechanical or industrial discipline preferred.
• Experience in a machine repair role in manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing production machine errors and malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnose basic issues and troubleshoot straightforward malfunctions.
• Execute repairs on equipment with close supervision and adherence to quality standards.
• Document maintenance activities in logs and reports.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal machine performance.
