Job summary

Excel Fluid Group in Brook Park, Ohio, is seeking an Industrial Technician for a full-time first shift (Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM). The role involves fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing pump station components and related systems per project specs.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable with HDPE, fiberglass, PVC, and metal, and dedicated to safe, quality workmanship. Experience with lift stations or pump systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools and equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with welding, plumbing, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Experience with pump systems or lift stations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to meet project specifications.
• Fabricate plastic and metal components for pump station assembly and installation.
• Assemble, install, and repair PVC, ductile iron, and HDPE piping systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in the shop or at job sites.
• Support pump station installation, repair, and service work in the factory and in the field as needed.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts safely and responsibly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following OSHA requirements and company safety procedures.
• Communicate with the Production Manager and team members to address issues and keep work moving.
• Meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Take on other related duties as needed to support production and installation work.
