Job summary

Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a well-established manufacturing organization seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment reliability, facility functionality, and operational efficiency on first shift.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with water pumps, plumbing systems, and industrial equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, reading schematics, and supporting shipping and receiving as needed to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
Experience with water pumps and plumbing systems is preferred.
Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, water pumps, plumbing systems, and facility infrastructure to maximize uptime.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic electrical issues using appropriate tools, testing equipment, and maintenance procedures.
Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment wear, safety concerns, and potential failures before they impact operations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and inventory documentation through digital and manual tracking systems.
Support shipping, receiving, and material handling functions, including verifying documentation, inspecting incoming goods, and coordinating inventory movement.
Work closely with operations, production, and management teams to schedule repairs, support equipment upgrades, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
