Job summary

You will operate forklifts, assist assembly with hand tools, inspect parts, and help keep the work area safe and efficient. The role requires reading blueprints and measuring to 1/16 inch, plus strong teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in a production environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch; blueprint reading a plus.
• Ability to perform simple calculations and read instructions in English.
• Able to lift, push, pull, and position heavy items.
• Reliable with scheduled hours and adherence to safety procedures.
• Comfortable in a non-climate-controlled environment and standing throughout the shift.
• Strong teamwork and accuracy in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Forklift operation to transport materials within the plant.
• Assemble metal components using hand and powered tools.
• Inspect finished parts for quality prior to progression.
• Safely handle materials with crane assistance when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow safety protocols including wearing PPE.
• Provide additional support across departments as production needs require.
