The role requires reliability, tool proficiency, and the ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch. Adaptability to a non-climate-controlled plant and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in a production environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Skilled with hand and power tools.
• Able to lift and move heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport materials within the plant.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble metal components as required.
• Inspect finished parts for quality assurance before proceeding.
• Maneuver heavy items safely, using crane assistance when needed.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE throughout the shift.
• Provide additional support across departments as production needs dictate.
