Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking skilled laborers for 2nd shift to operate forklifts, assemble metal components, and inspect parts for quality. You will handle materials safely, maintain clean work areas, and follow PPE and safety protocols throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Able to operate forklift and move heavy items safely.
• Read a tape measure to 1/16 inch; blueprint reading is a plus.
• Proficient with hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to perform basic math and read English instructions.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport materials within the plant.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble metal components per standards.
• Inspect finished parts for quality before passing to next stage.
• Handle materials safely, including crane-assisted moves.
• Keep work areas clean and compliant with safety rules.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Provide support in other departments as needed.
