Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking skilled Laborers to join our manufacturing team. You will operate forklifts, assist with assembly, and inspect parts for quality to ensure production standards are met.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure to 1/16 inch; blueprint reading is a plus.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and position heavy items daily.
• Comfortable in a non-climate-controlled environment and standing for full shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move materials within the plant following safety protocols.
• Assist assembly using hand and power tools as required by production standards.
• Inspect finished parts for quality before advancing to the next department.
• Handle materials safely, including heavy items, with crane assistance when needed.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE during the shift.
• Perform other duties across departments based on production needs.
