Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking a facility security and operations role at our California manufacturing site. You will enforce access control, monitor alarms, and support safe, compliant production alongside a diverse, global team.

This role requires adaptability to multi-shift schedules, strong teamwork, and a commitment to GMP and food safety. You will help keep our high-speed line running smoothly and contribute to safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem solving abilities.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience; 1 year related experience preferred.
• Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules; fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility security by greeting visitors and vendors.
• Enforce access control for employees, visitors and contractors.
• Monitor emergency alarms and procedures; manage CCTV and phone systems as applicable.
• Complete weighmaster duties and conduct truck inspections as needed.
• Inventory management and data entry for administrative tasks.
• Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the team and leadership regarding operations.
• Promote Froneri culture of ownership among employees.
