Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc is seeking a 1st Shift Forklift Operator for our Dayton, NJ distribution center. The role involves loading, unloading, stacking, and staging goods using various power equipment while maintaining inventory accuracy with our warehouse system.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of forklift experience (Swing Reach, Reach Truck, Order Picker), strong communication skills, and the ability to learn PKMS. This is an onsite position with overtime as needed and benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience operating Swing Reach, Reach Truck and Order Picker.
• Onsite role in Dayton, NJ.
• Excellent attendance and team orientation.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to learn PKMS and warehouse processes.
• Ability to read locations and SKU numbers.
• Willing to be cross-trained on WSIDDC equipment: Reach Tracker, Pacers, Swing Reach, Order Picker/TT, Motorized Pallet Jack.
• Positive attitude and work ethic; able to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload, stack, and stage products using multiple types of power equipment.
• Complete daily hub picks using the inventory management system.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organize aisles daily.
• Promote safety and uphold a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
