Job summary

Wow Bao in Forest City, NC is seeking a hands-on 1st Shift Production Manager to lead daily production activities. You will oversee first-shift schedules, ensure safe, efficient manufacturing of food products, and drive accountability across line performance and labor utilization.

Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and HR to meet production goals. The role requires strong leadership, HACCP/GMP knowledge, and a proven ability to coach frontline teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in food/high-volume environments.
• 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, line performance, changeovers, downtime, yield, waste, and throughput.

Responsibilities

• Lead first-shift production teams to meet schedules, targets, labor standards, and quality expectations.
• Monitor line performance, staffing, changeovers, material readiness, and production flow.
• Coach supervisors and leads on floor leadership, accountability, communication, and problem solving.
• Ensure accurate production reporting, shift handoffs, downtime tracking, and daily performance communication.
