Job summary

Aegis Manufacturing & Engineering in Knightstown, IN seeks an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Cell Lead responsible for guiding priorities, training talent, and keeping production flowing safely and on time. You will build complex equipment shoulder-to-shoulder with your team, from components to full machines, on a 1st shift schedule.

You’ll roll up your sleeves to assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical units, interpret drawings and BOMs, log labor and material usage in the ERP

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly or machine building.
• Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and BOMs.
• Experience leading others or coaching teammates.
• Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing-tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily direction and labor coordination.
• Hands-on assembly of mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical units.
• Coach and train team members; onboard new hires.
• Track labor, materials, inventory, and work orders.
• Participate in daily production meetings and escalate blockers.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and organized work area.
