Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Die Setter/Operator for first shift in Richmond, KY. You will set up dies on large progressive and transfer presses, ensure parts meet customer specs, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

You will follow JES sheets, participate in quality and corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives while meeting daily production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with metal stamping and die setting is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow JES sheets and setup instructions.
• Must be willing to work extended hours including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust dies on presses (200 to 2500 ton) to produce quality parts per JES and specs.
• Understand and explain the Quality Policy and how this role supports customer satisfaction.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and adherence to process instructions.
• Log non-conformities and participate in corrective actions and continuous improvement.
