Job summary

PrecisionX Group is seeking a Die Setter to assemble tooling and set up presses and associated equipment to produce metal enclosures and stampings. You will support production, maintain quality, and help meet safety goals in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in die setting, lean manufacturing experience, and the ability to read blueprints and use die setter tools. Join a team committed to quality and continuous improvement in a dynamic shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year die setting or die setter experience preferred; lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Experience in the deep draw metal stamping industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tooling and equipment setup to meet production needs.
• Assemble and install tooling and set up presses and related equipment.
• Check tooling for accuracy, fit, sharpness, and print specifications before production.
• Perform first-piece inspection (height, I.D., O.D., wall thickness, finish).
• Provide production support and process improvements when quality or production issues arise.
• Operate the shop-floor production control system and maintain records for materials and output.
• Adhere to safety rules and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
