Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Cleaner for 1st shift in Manhasset, NY. The role involves performing a variety of custodial tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across internal spaces, under supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, window washing, dusting, bathroom servicing, and waste management. No prior experience required; you will work with a team and follow instructions to ensure high standards of service.

Qualifications

• No previous cleaning experience required.
• Able to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Ability to operate portable vacuum cleaner - backpack style.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and surfaces.
• Use floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas.
• Spot clean and shampoo rugs as directed.
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Wash windowsills and glass in interior doors and windows.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies daily.
• Report defects to supervisors.
• Remove and replace liners in waste containers.
