Training is provided, and candidates should be able to work under supervision and within a team. Key tasks include operating cleaning equipment, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and reporting any mechanical or safety issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities with no prior experience required.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Must use a portable backpack vacuum.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces inside buildings.
• Operate floor buffers and shampoo machines as directed.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean and shampoo as needed; dust furniture and fixtures.
• Wash windowsills and interior/exterior glass; spot clean walls as needed.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies daily; damp wipe glass surfaces.
• Monitor for defects (e.g., clogged urinals, lights) and report to supervisors.
• Collect building trash daily and place in designated containers for removal.
• Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers per specs.
• Sweep or shovel snow from entrances and walkways as directed.
• Perform periodic work such as high dusting and polishing as assigned.
